Who We Are

We are a collective of educators who believe that education serves a noble purpose - to empower learners. Ironically, the proliferation of the tuition industry itself relies on nurturing the dependence of students on their tutors - and that is fatal for these youths who will be entering a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous(VUCA) future. Here at Infinity Education, we consider the empowerment of our learners a fundamental curriculum objective. Success, to us, is seeing our own students develop habits of mind that allow them to make intelligent decisions independently. 

What We Do

Not only a tuition service provider, we also offer enrichment programmes inspired by our professional development at Project Zero from Harvard Graduate School of Education. We weave in principles that enculturate thinking to understand in all our classes to equip learners with thinking routines and a growth mindset to make good judgments. 

As a community of lifelong learners, we welcome educators who truly resonate with our core philosophy to join in on conversations and embark on collaboration projects in future. Making tough decisions to go against the norm (e.g. spoon-feeding) can be mentally draining! #YouAreNotAlone

We are currently looking for like-minded educators in various subjects who would like to continue their professional development with HGSE's Project Zero together. By joining our community, your profile will be posted on Infinity Education's website and we will recommend your services to our current students when appropriate.

7. Other Humanities & Social Sciences - IB MYP

8. Any other subjects that our community's portfolio currently lacks.

Information required

1. Academic qualification(s) - proof of excellence in your ability to learn and perform on demand

2. Certificate of participation in at least one of HGSE Project Zero's in-depth courses, along with a short explanation of not more than 200 words on "What made you sign up for this?"

3. A sample of a student's work with your written feedback, annotated with short descriptions of what you notice about the student's thinking

4. A link to your existing website/marketing materials  OR a draft of your profile page (what you would like to post on this website)

What we are looking for

• Awareness of the types of thinking that promote understanding

• Consistent usage of inclusive, warm and humble language

• Supportive, trusting, encouraging and respectful interactions between student and teacher (from your sample of student's work)

Like-minded educators will receive a response around 27th December 2024- 7th January 2025. 

Why We Exist

One distinct characteristic of the private education sector is that parents, and sometimes learners, can choose their own teachers. Yet, this freedom of choice comes with the responsibility of choosing a good tutor - mostly through word-of-mouth. Thus, this website is created as a means for educators to share their own educational philosophy, so that parents and learners can find like-minded educators for the subjects they need.
