Dear parents, 

We have made some exciting changes to the services we offer! 

On top of traditional services like 1-to-1 private tuition, we have kickstarted our "Thinking to Learn" Enrichment Programme for students aged 10-14. Also, we will be offering group sessions to lower secondary students on demand

Curriculum-wise, we have incorporated thinking routines as a compulsory element in all our lessons and often take the plunge to indulge our students' curiosity by designing projects on the spot to guide them through a process of inquiry to learn beyond what is going to be tested. 

Furthermore, we have plans to expand our community so that parents have reliable word-of-mouth referrals. Hence, we humbly invite like-minded educators to join us on our professional learning journey.

To summarise our biggest transformation, we have decided to prioritise the kinds of thinking that promote understanding because we believe learning should lead to self-growth. This does not mean we stopped pursuing excellence. Rather, we believe that excellence is a natural consequence of authentic learning. 

As such, it has become imperative that parents truly understand what we value and offer before they decide to embark on a learning journey with us. If you have been referred by an ex-student who has topped the cohort in PSLE, or achieved consistent academic excellence, know that 99% of the credit goes to my student (not me). Hence, please do not expect the same results or service; Because I customise everything - from setting realistic expectations to choice of materials - to suit each student's learning pace and current habits of mind. 

Our educational philosophy has expanded; We have further clarified how we teach, and what we prioritise have been transformed to reflect our growth as progressive educators who responsibly seek professional development from reputable world-class educational institutions.
